Father,
Thank you for all that comes with my life in sport.
I gladly receive from Your hand wins and losses, thrills
and heartache, strength and injury.
I confess that this injury, its pain, and the prospect of
rehab grieve my soul.
Please use every hour of treatment, rest, and rehab to
restore my body.
Please restore my heart and my mind as well, returning me
to compete again.
I commit all that I am and all that I have to this process
of healing and restoration.
I pray and trust in the healing power of Jesus' name.
